AWLL’s own Executive Board member, Kelsey Farish, was a featured speaker at Doughty Street Chambers’ International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday 02 March 2024. As an expert in media law, Kelsey spoke about deepfakes, image-based sexual abuse and what we can do to keep women and girls safe. Way to go, Kelsey!

AWLL members enjoyed an online event with SEAL and their panel discussion on AI, Law & Ethics.
The panel addressed key benefits and implications of the rise of AI tools used in different contexts. We explored potential ways to identify and mitigate AI-related risks for our clients and organisations.

We are very grateful to Laura Devine Immigration for hosting this much-needed in-person gathering of members and guests after enduring a crazy couple of years! This was a hybrid in-person and livestream event.
We discussed many post-Covid changes to the US immigration landscape. We considered topics applicable to American expats including changes in I-130 filings, renunciation issues, US passport renewal delays and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. Our Q&A sessions touched on a wider list of US immigration topics.
