AWLL hosts several professional development and networking events every year that provide opportunities to meet and hear from prominent individuals in London.

Non-members are always welcome at our events!

Networking

Our best benefit is the opportunity to develop professional and personal relationships with other women lawyers in London and around the UK.  By participating in our group, you will meet many women lawyers who have moved their careers across the Atlantic and foreign-trained lawyers who have become members of the Bar in a U.S. state.

Member Directory

A powerful tool to network with fellow members, increase your profile in the community and obtain referrals.  This is an online, password-locked searchable pdf.  Members must opt-in to be listed.

Introductions

We can facilitate introductions among members with common interests.  An example of a request is, “Could you connect me with other lawyers licensed in Ohio?”  As a first step, members should consult the Member Directory to reach out directly themselves.  Further requests can be made via our Contact Us page.

Referrals

Avail yourself of our Member Directory to make and respond to referral requests of fellow members.

Mentoring Program

Need a mentor or want to be a mentor? You’ve come to the right place.

Social

Whether it be a scheduled evening outing, a spontaneous pop-up event or simply a weekend afternoon at a park, members enjoy the opportunity to socialise with each other at various spots throughout London.

Annual 4th of July BBQ

Members enjoy FREE attendance at our annual Independence Day celebration! Non-members are welcome for a nominal cost.

This is also often the day of our Annual General Meeting, which takes place prior to the BBQ.

Charity Events

AWLL supports local charities at various events around London.

Each year, members participate in the London Legal Walk in support of the London Legal Support Trust, an independent charity which raises funds for the free legal advice charities in London and the South East.
