IMPoster syndrome discussion and workshop

Please join us in this event addressing “imposter syndrome” for women in the workplace! This feeling is very common - much more so for women, even in senior roles - than men. The gender “confidence gap” affects women's daily lives.
Our expert, Keely Roberts, is experienced in transformational coaching helping professional women with career and personal life challenges. She will discuss a variety of subjects related to imposter syndrome, as she puts it "Research shows that women will not apply for a position when they know they are well qualified for the role, and meet most of the job specifications - while men with the same qualifications and also lacking a few specifications will apply for the role - why?
Why is this so common and why is this so different for women as compared to men? How is this affecting women in work and outside of work? Is this leading to burn-out, or maybe the other way around? How can we spot it in ourselves and others and how can we start to disrupt it and have a new mindset around it?" Please join us for this invigorating discussion this Spring 2025!

london legal walk

Each year thousands of lawyers and fellow legal minds participate in a lovely “walk for justice” through some of London’s beautiful areas, taking in gorgeous sights including the Royal Courts of Justice, historical buildings, parks and rivers. We walk in support of The London Legal Support Trust toward one mission: helping people access justice when they need it most. Multiple route options are available, including shorter and accessible routes.
2024 marked the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk! A whopping 18,000 walkers took on this 10k for justice, making 2024 the biggest in the 20 year history.
In addition to the walk, there is always a great selection of food stalls as well as a raffle with truly fantastic prizes on offer. This year, one of your fellow AWLL members was lucky enough to win the grand prize!
