Join our Team!

The AWLL Executive Committee is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated member to join us in the role of MARKETING CHAIR and MEMBERSHIP CO-CHAIR.

Executive Committee members past and present are happy to speak with you about the roles. We would love to utilise your enthusiasm and skills as we move forward!

Our organization is run solely by volunteers and we encourage those with an interest in taking on a leadership role within our dynamic organization to contact us.  We are run by a small team of friendly and dedicated volunteers who have busy legal careers but believe in the value of the organisation.

Desired Qualifications:

Successful candidates for the Executive Committee will be driven, team-spirited and passionate women who have strong administrative, organizational and IT skills and support AWLL’s goals and objectives. Regarding IT skills, it is extremely beneficial to have experience or a willingness/savviness to learn applications used regularly by the organisation such as MailChimp, Google Docs, Facebook, LinkedIn, JotForm, PayPal, Word and Excel.  It would be helpful, but not necessary, to have some previous experience within a club or organization. Your membership status and participation with AWLL will be considered.  However, please note that the Executive Committee is built of both newcomers and veterans of AWLL.  Most importantly we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and motivated in taking on these roles.

Tenure:

Executive Committee roles are designed to be two-year commitments. Where the roles are vacant between the two-year election cycles, such as at present, they are filled by appointment of the Executive Committee. You are welcome to continue in the role beyond these dates as an incumbent candidate.
